 Bamboo is a grass not a wood and does not involve any destruction of trees or forests.
Bamboo is harder and more durable than most wood types.
Bamboo can grow successfully without any fertilizers or harmful pesticides.
Bamboo plants absorbs huge quantities of carbon from the atmosphere and replace it with life-giving oxygen approximately 35% more than trees can provide.
Bamboo plants can reach full maturity in 3-5 years and once harvested, will generate new growth from the very same plant source.
Bamboo has a wide-spreading root system which helps prevent massive soil erosion and keeps twice as much water in the waterbed.
Bamboo boasts more than 1200 different species. The type used to make home products is different to what Pandas and other animals use as a food source and therefore no harm is done to our eco system.
